KATRA, May 5 : Katra Police today foiled an attempt of bovine smuggling and rescued seven number of cattle besides arresting two accused smugglers.
The arrested accused were identified as Shoket Ali , son of Abdul Rouf and Naseema Bibi wife of Mohd Jaleel, both resident of village Bhangal, Tehsil Katra. They were intercepted by a Police party at Dadura Panthal.
In this regard, a case FIR number 82/2020, under section 188 IPC, 3 PC Act has been registered at P/S Katra. The arrest was made by SHO Katra, Inspr Pardeep Gupta, under the supervision of SDPO Katra Kuljit Singh and ASP Katra Naresh Singh.
