JAMMU, Apr 6: The Legislative Council today adopted three Motions for extension of time for presentation of the reports of different Committees.
The Minister for Urban Development and Urban Local Bodies Nawang Rigzin Jora today presented a report of the Joint Select Committee on Jammu and Kashmir Municipal Laws (Second Amendment) Bill, 2010 up to last day of the next Session’.
B R Kundal on behalf of Devender Singh Rana moved “that this House extends the time for presentation of Report of the House Committee looking into the issue of conversion of residential areas into commercial in violation of Master Plan in the cities of Jammu and Srinagar up to the last day of the next Session”.
Sheikh Gulam Rasool on behalf of Devender Singh Rana moved another motion for extension of time “that this House extends the time for presentation of the report of the ‘Select Committee on Trans-world Muslim University Bill 2009 (L.A. Private Members’ Bill No. 23 of 2009), the Sheikh-ul-Aalam Research University Kashmir Bill, 2010 (L.A. Private Member’s Bill No. 09 of 2010) and Shri Guru Nanak Dev Khalsa University Bill, 2010 (L. A. Private Members’ Bill No. 59 of 2010) up to the last day of the next Session’.
