JAMMU, May 7: National Mazdoor Conference (NMC) has urged upon the authorities concerned to consider the functioning of Civil Secretariat Jammu and Srinagar simultaneously in view of COVID-19 pandemic.
In a handout NMC president, Subash Shastri has expressed hope that expenditure on Darbar Move can be utilized for the welfare of distressed people.
Shastri said that expenditure of Darbar Move should be diverted to disaster management.
“While the timely actions by the Prime Minister and J&K Government to control the pandemic are exemplary, public should also cooperate by following the guidelines of the concerned authorities as far as Coronavirus is concerned,” he maintained.
Other members of NMC including Rajan Babu Khajuria, B.S Jamwal, Surinder Kumar, Ramesh Sharma and Darshan Bawa demanded early release of wages of daily rated workers.
