JAMMU, Apr 6: The Civil Secretariat, the seat of the Government, would close here on April 26 and re-open in Srinagar, the summer capital of the State, on May 6.
The General Administration Department (GAD) issue an order to this effect today.
It said the Civil Secretariat offices with five days a week working would close on April 26 while those with six days working would shut on April 27.
“The offices moving in camps would carry only 33 per cent of the staff strength in that particular office of 10 officials, whichever is minimum or otherwise, as specifically indicated,’’ it added.
It said salary for the month of April, 2013 in respect of all the employees working in the Move offices shall be drawn on April 22.
The order said all departments will send their advance parties on April 22 comprising one gazetted officers and four to five non-gazetted employees.
