JAMMU, May 11: Distrib-ution of ration and essential items continued here today.
Kamdhenu Paints J&K in collaboration with Hardware Paint and Sanitary Dealers Association Jammu distributed essential items among needy families in Lower Roop Nagar area of Ward Number 66 Jammu. Member of Parliament (MP) Rajya Sabha Shamsher Singh Manhas accompanied by Ex Minister Bali Bhagat and BJP District President Jammu Rural Rajinder Singh Chib distributed the ration. Corporator Tripta Devi, BJP Mandal Pradhan Suresh Khajuria, Subash Nanda, J&K Branch Head of Kamdhenu Paints, Anurag Kapoor ASM, Neeraj Gupta President HPSDA, Naresh Chopra, Senior Vice President HPSDA, Varun Sharma Vice President, Vishal Bhat General Secretary, Sanjay Pandita Publicity Incharge and many others were present on the occasion.
Advocate Purnima Sharma, Deputy Mayor JMC distributed essential food supplies in Ward Number 1. Vinay Gupta Jammu District President, Rajesh Gupta Ex MLA Jammu East, Kuldeep Kandari District Jammu General Secretary, Suresh Bharti Mandal Secretary East, Ved Prakash Padha Mandal Office Secretary, Gopal Sanotra Mandal Office Secretary, Sunita Wazir Mahila Morcha Mandal General Secretary, Shubh Lata Sharma, Vijay Kumar Sharma and many others were present on the occasion.
Gandhi Global Family J&K and Gandhi Samarak Nidhi jointly distributed dry ration and fresh vegetables among 60 stranded labour and local families of Jammu identified by local resident of Janipur and GGF life member Rashid Choudhary. The relief material was distributed among needy families in presence of GGF President J&K Padmashri Dr S P Varma and SHO Police Station Janipur Inspector Naresh Sharma. Dr Dharamvir Singh Khosla Ex Director Animal Husbandry J&K Government, Raj Kumar Langer President Goushala Amphala, Kuldeep Parotra Ex Joint Director Sheep Husbandry J&K Government, Dr Prem Sharma GGF Advisor Jammu, Jaswinder Singh Kuku GGF Advisor Jammu City, Sanjeev Kohli, Ragav Changotra, Pawan Gupta, Sushupal Tak, Amit Varma and Ankush Varma distributed the relief material.
MD Bandey Memorial Society Poonch led by Er Saleem Bandey distributed essential food material to the needy people including widows and orphans in village Dara-Bagial which is situated on the other side of fence near the LoC.
Hafiz Mohammad Tasvir, Imran Shah, Liaqat Bandey, Riaz Ahmed, Jagjit Singh, Wasem Raja, Sohail Kimani and Mohammad Shabir were also present on the occasion.
Shilpa Mahajan, BJP Councillor from Ward Number 5 Akhnoor and Principal Shubh Memorial School Akhnoor distributed masks and stationary items to the needy people of her ward. She also distributed masks among doctors and paramedical staff viz sanitation workers of SDH Akhnoor.
Amit Seyal General Secretary District Youth Congress Rajouri distributed masks among the people.
Kulbushan Gupta (Manu Mahajan) Owner of Sansar Atta and Dal Mill distributed ration at Jammu to the needy families.
Lupin Limited Industry Bari Brahmana distributed dry ration among the needy and poor families at Bari Brahmana in District Samba. Pawan Sethi Estate Manager SIDCO, Tarsem Singh Sarpanch of Kartholi, Bari- Brahmana, Atul V Patil Site Head, Gurjeet Singh Engg Head and Satish Saraf Admin Head were also present on the occasion.
A team of Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS) Jammu Region under the supervision of Secretary, IRCS Vinod Malhotra distributed ration and other food items among 90 poor and needy families of Sunjwan, Bahu Fort and its adjoining areas.
Vivekanada Kendra Kanyakumari Branch Jammu distributed essential commodities and masks among needy people in Janipur, Barnai, Udeywala, Munshichack, Amar Colony, Lower Roop Nagar and at Jagti Township. Shiv Ji Sikarwar Kendra Poorn Kalin Karyakarta of Jammu Branch was among others present on the occasion.
The BJP Kathua unit distributed free ration kits among 100 families on behalf of Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh today. The ration was distributed by former district president and senior BJP leader, Prem Nath Dogra among the needy people in the town along with other party activists.
