Mobile internet restored

Srinagar, May 11: The mobile internet that was snapped last week ahead of killing of Hizbul Mujahideen operational commander, Riyaz Naikoo, was restored tonight.
Inspector General of Police Kashmir, Vijay Kumar, told Excelsior that the 2G mobile internet services were restored at 11.30 pm.
The Internet was suspended by the authorities to prevent violence in the aftermath of the killing of Naikoo.
The on-line classes of over 12 lakh children in Kashmir were also suspended due to the internet shutdown.
