JAMMU, May 12: J&K BJP vice president, Yudhvir Sethi today distributed BP machines among the party workers to help people in case of any emergency amid COVID-19 lockdown.
During the function, Parveen Kerni president BJP Jammu East Mandal; Kuldeep Khandari, District general secretary and BJP leader Nitish Mahajan were also present.
“It is our duty to help the needy in the hour of crisis and we are trying to provide all necessary assistance to needy people,” said Sethi.
Sethi said that the BP machines were provided to 12 party workers of different wards of Jammu city so that during an emergency amidst lockdown they can provide necessary support to the people of their respective wards. “BJP is at forefront in tacking COVID-19 crisis in the J&K,” he added.
Sethi asserted that we were serving free ration, food, masks, sanitizers and other essential commodities to needy to mitigate the sufferings of poor people who got affected due to lockdown at different places of UT and so provided ambulance at their disposal of Jammu East Mandal which is also important service during the lockdown.
“The way the people of the country have supported to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi presenting a new hope for the nation in its fight against the global crisis of Corona virus,” he said.
