JAMMU, Apr 7: Bishnah police today raided a cement dealer-Subash Chander and Company at Laswara and recovered 100 fake bags of Ambuja cement from his shop in which spurious cement was being sold.
The raid was conducted on a complaint that the cement dealer was selling sub standard cement on the name of Ambuja brand.
The owner of the shop was absconding, police said, adding that he has been booked under Sections 420, 482 and 486 RPC.
Police parties headed by SHO Bishnah Deepak Pathania conducted the raid under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Diwakar Singh.
