JAMMU, Apr 7: A meeting of Block Congress Committee Bishnah was held at Arnia today in which Gulchain Singh Charak, Member CWC, AICC, as also was largely attended by party workers, Sarpanchs, Panchs and other prominent citizens of whole of the constituency participated.
BCC Bishnah while speaking on the occasion, the various party leaders highlighted the problems being faced by the people of constituency in general and border areas in particular including compensation of land under fencing near border, revision of BPL lists, irrigation, electricity, health and agriculture and requested Charak for the early redressal.
They also requested him for arranging a meeting of workers with some ministers concerned so that the problems could be solved on the spot.
Gambhir Dev Singh Charak while addressing the gathering assured the party workers assured that he will always work for the betterment of people of Block Bishnah in general and Congress workers in particular. He also appealed to the youth to strengthen the Congress party at grass root level.
Mr Charak while speaking appealed the Government to solve the problems being faced by the people of border areas of this constituency. He further assured the workers that issues related to the various problems will be raised at the appropriate forum for their early redressal and he will not leave any stone un-turned for the solution of their various problems. He also appealed to the Government to take all necessary steps for opening the Degree College at Arnia on priority basis, so that the students especially the female students are able to get the education at their door step.
