India, Pak should work out all issues on table: Speaker

SRINAGAR, Apr 7: A warm welcome was given to Mubarak Gul by his party workers on his arrival at Church Lane here today as a gesture on being elevated as Speaker, Legislative Assembly by the Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah recently.
Addressing the workers, Mubarak Gul said that he will be always fair and impartial while performing duties as Speaker, adding that he had requested opposition not to boycott the Assembly proceeding, but they put deaf ear. He said, “I passed two resolutions with voice votes, which I feel very much”.
Mubarak Gul expressed the need to implement Rehabilitation Policy in a positive manner so that good faith is developed in the youth of J&K. He also said that both the countries India and Pakistan should work out all issues on the table, adding violence is no solution to any matter.
Referring to the development of Eidgah Constituency, Mr. Gul reaffirmed his resolve to develop constituency as a historical place. He said soon after taking over as Speaker, he convened a meeting of various Commissioners/Secretaries and issued orders for proper implementation of all developmental and welfare schemes in a stipulated timeframe with special attention to the quality of the work.
Mubarak Gul while expressing his feelings over the bus accident recently said that he had constituted two committees headed by respective Divisional Commissioners to ensure checking of fitness and other related matter of school buses.
The workers of the Eidgah Constituency also submitted their charter of demands to their leader with the request to ensure fulfillment of all these demands within coming years.
Later, Mr. Gul visited Asar-i-Sharief Hazratbal and prayed for peace and prosperity of the State. He also visited the graveyard of Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah and prayed fateh there.
