JAMMU, May 14: A constable of Jammu and Kashmir Police received grievous injuries today when his motorcycle was hit by a milk van on the flyover near KC Chowk, here.
Police sources said that a Mahindra load carrier loaded with milk cans this morning hit a motorcycle bearing registration number JK21F-4309, which was coming from the opposite direction on the flyover.
“In the accident, one constable namely Ankit Sambyal (Belt No. 925/AP 7th Bn D Coy) son of Gulzar Singh, resident of Bahdiya in Vijaypur suffered a head injury and was shifted to Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu for medical treatment,” they said, adding, Bus Stand police has registered a case in this connection and started investigation.
