JAMMU, May 17: Bishnah police arrested three persons for violating prohibitory orders.
As per police sources, during checking at Mehmoodpur, a team from Bishnah Police Station intercepted two vehicles bearing registration numbers JK02CC-2834 and JK02BA-2857 loaded with slippers.
During scrutiny of documents, police team came to fore that both the vehicles were plying without permission (curfew passes) thereby violated the DM Jammu order and arrested three persons.
The arrested persons were identified as Vinod Kumar, son of Bishan Dass of Ward Number 3, Bishnah, Sachin Singh, son of Jagdish Singh of village Chorli Tehsil Bishnah and Vicky Pangotra, son of Mulkh Raj of village Kotli Charkan Tehsil Bishnah.
A case under FIR Number 82/2020 under Section 188 IPC has been registered at Police Station Bishnah and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Bishnah Inspector Deepak Pathania made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Shabir Khan, SP Headquarters Jammu Adil Hamid and SSP Jammu Shridhar Patil.
