NDS organizes ‘e- Kahani Goshthi’

JAMMU, May 18: Nami Dogri Sanstha organised a digital multilingual “Laghu Kahani Goshthi” wherein six short stories were presented by way of videos/audios in the Whatsapp group of Nami Dogri Sanstha.
Renowned story writer Nirmal Vikram supervised and presided over the “e-Goshthi”, Yash Pal Yash- General Secretary NDS compered and coordinated the proceedings whereas Capt Lalit Sharma, Convener NDS, supervised the event.
Sahitya Academy awardee and President of Duggar Manch, Mohan Singh Salathia read short story in Dogri, titled “PP Urf Piddu Pradhan”
Famous cartoonist & writer Dr Vijay Puri presented “Paper Wachan Da Pehla Chance” a Dogri short story while Kusam Sharma “Antra” -famous Urdu and Dogri poetess & writer, presented her videofied Hindi short story “Jheena Sa Parda”.
Dr Baljit Singh Raina presented his Punjabi story “Password”. Another Punjabi short story was from Amarjeet Kaur Neer, titled “Masumiat” whereas Shambu Ram Pyasa narrated his short story “Darr”.
Those who offered their comments on the short stories, include Suman Pal, Former Station Head AIR; former Addl Secretary of J&K Academy of Art Culture and Languages , T R Tagotra; renowned bureaucrat & famous singer Sameer Bharti, Jatinder Jolly, Padam Singh Choudhary, Dr Chanchal Sharma , Naveen Pal, Anil Kumar Razdan, Dr Adarsh Malhotra, Nidhi Kaila Choudhary, Sanjiv Sharma and Advocate Harish Kaila.
Nirmal Vikram, in her presidential address, lauded the efforts of NDS and the short story writers for making the “e-goshthi” a grand success. Advocate Harish Dogra Kaila said that the literary e-interactions by NDS will continue more vigorously.
