JAMMU, May 19: Distribution of ration and essential items among needy persons continued here today.
Gandhi Global Family J&K in collaboration with Himalaya Botanicals Private Limited organized 26th relief camp at Mubarak Mandi, Jammu. The 25 labourer from Odisha and local needy families were identified by local resident of Dhaki Sarajan Ravi Kapoor. The relief material was distributed in presence of GGF President J&K Padmashri Dr S P Varma. Ankush Varma CEO Himalaya Botanicals, Dr Prem Sharma GGF Advisor, Incharge Police Post Panjtirthi SI Vinod Sharma, Jaswinder Singh Kuku GGF Advisor Jammu City, Rakesh Abrol, Amit Varma, Choudhary Arif Hussain, Raman Sharma, Ravi Kapoor and Ankush Varma distributed the relief material.
Team of District Congress Committee (DCC) distributed health kits among the residents in Mastgarh area of Ward Number 3 Jammu. The health kits comprised of essentials such as face masks, hand sanitizers and soaps. The event was organised by Jyoti Vaid, Vice President DCC and Sushant Gupta, General Secretary DCC. Former Minister J&K and General Secretary JKPCC In Charge District President Jammu Urban, Yogesh Sawhney led the relief distribution drive. Various prominent leaders present on the occasion were DCC Vice President Pawan Dev, DCC General Secretary Anoop Gupta, DCC Secretary Parvinder Kour and Shanky Gupta, Ward President Hardavinder Singh Sumit Chibber, Pappu Suri, Shankey Sudan, Neeeru Gupta, Vimla Padha, Neha Gupta, Munna Nischal and Rehmat Javed.
137 Battalion CRPF distributed relief material at Jhajjar Kotli. Assistant Commandant of the Battalion Pankaj Kumar, SHO Jhajjar Kotli Police Station Inspector Rajesh Khajuria, BDC Chairman Reena Thappa and Sarpanch Kuldeep Sharma were also present.
Vivekananda Kundra Kanaya Kumari Branch Jammu distributed masks in Vasuki Vihar area of Jammu. Shiva Sikarwar, Pooran Kalin of Vivekananda Kendra and many others were present on the occasion.
Roop Nagar JDA Housing Colony Welfare Association distributed dry ration among the needy families residing in Roop Nagar Colony. Chairman of the Association Uttam Deep Sharma, BK Sharma, Ashok Gupta, Baldev Raj Sharma, Ashok Sharma, YS Charak, Rajesh Rathore, Jyoti Khajuria and many others were present on the occasion.
Martand KP Brigade Charitable Trust distributed sanitizers among Corona warriors and people at Jagti township. SP Rural Jammu Suram Singh, President NC Minority Cell MK Yogi and volunteers of the Trust namely Rakesh Tickoo, Ajay Tickoo, Sunny Tickoo and Rahul Tickoo were present on the occasion.
