JAMMU, May 19: A tanker driver has been arrested along with 90 grams of cannabis.
As per police sources, on specific information, a joint team from Sidhra Police Post led by Inspector Zaheer Mushtaq and DSB Jammu under the supervision of SDPO Nagrota Mohan Lal Sharma laid a naka and intercepted an oil tanker bearing registration number JK04C-0629.
During checking, police team recovered 90 grams cannabis from the possession of the driver and arrested him.
The arrested driver has been identified as Amit Kumar, son of Mohan Lal, a resident of Manthal Tikri District Udhampur.
A case under FIR Number 192/2020 under section 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Nagrota and investigation started.
