POONCH, May 19: Deputy Commissioner, Poonch, Rahul Yadav today suspended four employees of Sub District Hospital (SDH) Surankote for dereliction of duties relating to COVID-19.
Those suspended by the DC are Dr Amir (Medical Officer) deployed at JNV Surankote, Mushtaq Hussain (Lab Assistant, SDH Surankote), Hayat Khan (Junior Assistant, SDH Surankote), Yasir Ahmed, Lab Technician (presently SDH Surankote) and Naseeb Aftab, Lab Assistant, NHM (presently at SDH Surankote).
According to the suspension order, these employees have shown gross negligence so far as the work of COVID-19 is concerned in SDH Surankote, therefore, they are placed under suspension with immediate effect and they will remain attached in the office of the Block Medical Officer, Surankote during the suspension period.
In his order, the DC asked Dr Mukarab Hussain Shah (MO, SDH Surankote) to report to his (DC) office with immediate effect. The DC also directed Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Poonch to initiate disciplinary action against the suspended officer/officials under CSC Rules and submit action taken report to his office at an earliest.
