RAJOURI, May 20: The police smashed a working still and arrested a villager in Nowshera area of Rajouri district the other day.
Police said that a police party from Nowshera led by SHO Amit Singh under the supervision of SDPO Zakir Shaheen Mirza conducted raid at village Nonial on Tuesday and smashed a working still there. The police destroyed large quantity of Lahan on the spot and also seized 10 Ltr of locally made liquor. One person-Amit Kumar, son of Puran Chand of Nonial was arrested in this connection. A case FIR No. 84/2020 was registered against him.
