JAMMU, May 26: Chief Engineer, (Distribution) JPDCL, Jammu has informed that to carry out the preventive maintenance of 132 KV S/C Gladni-Kalakote Transmission Line, the power supply to the areas fed from 132/33 KV Grid Station Akhnoor and Kalakote will remain affected on May 27 from 7 am to 2 pm.
Similarly, to execute work of branch cutting and replacement of worn out conductors of Top Tier of 33 KV Phalata and 33 KV Jindrah feeder, , the power supply to Jhajjar Kotli, Jindrah, Phalata, Salal, Katra, Reasi, SMVDU and adjoining areas will remain affected on May 27 from 8 am to 5 pm.
Meanwhile, to facilitate the shifting of electrical utilities for construction of NH-44 in Udhampur- Batote section, the shutdown of 132 KV CSTL between Udhampur and Batote Section is being observed from May 27 to June 02 (on continuous basis) from 9 am to 5 pm.
During the shutdown, the affected areas shall be fed from 220/132/33 KV Grid Station Ramban and 220/132/33 KV Grid Station Mir Bazar Srinagar.
