UDHAMPUR, May 27: Udhampur Police has recovered two stolen vehicles (Dumpers) and arrested two accused persons in this regard.
The arrested accuseds were identified as Rockey Sharma son of Badri Nath of Kaghote, Ramnagar and Naresh Thakur son of Thakur Dass of Amroh, Ramnagar.
Giving details, SSP Udhampur Rajiv Pandey said that based on the written complaint lodged by Karan Singh son of Budh Singh, that some unknown thieves have stolen his Dumper bearing registration number PB 03AP- 5701 from Laddan Morh, Udhampur, a case FIR number 208/2020, under section 379 IPC was registered at PS Udhampur.
During the course of investigation, police party led by SHO Udhampur, Insp Vijay Singh Choudhary, under the supervision of Rajinder Singh Katoch, Addl SP Udhampur and Dr Rohit Chadgal, DySP Hqrs Udhampur, zeored in some suspects and on their disclouser, intercepted the stolen vehicle from Dibber area of Udhampur town.
On further interrogation of the accused persons, police party also recovered another vehicle (Dumper) bearing registration number PB 03AP- 2802, which was stolen by the same gang of thieves from the Laddan Morh area of Udhampur.
