Bike having number resembling with car loaded with IED taken into custody

KATHUA, May 28: Hiranagar police took the motor cycle belonging to Sahil a BSF Jawan posted in Humhama area of Budgam district of Kashmir Valley in its custody today whose registration number was resembling the car in which IED was planted that was found in Pulwama area of Kashmir Valley this morning.
Soon after getting the information that the Santro car bearing Registration Number JK08B-1426 which was loaded with IED at Pulwama this morning and that was later defused was resembling with the registration number of a motorcycle owned by one Sahil a BSF jawan of Nanath in Hiranagar tehsil of Kathua district, a team of Kathua police led by SHO of the Police Station, Inspector Vijay Kumar rushed to the residence of Sahil to locate the motorcycle. The police took the motorcycle into its custody for further verification.
Police also made verification from the family members of BSF jawan who said that the two wheeler was lying there since Sahil reported to his duties in Kashmir as no body in the family is driving the two wheeler except him. However, the number plate of the motorcycle was intact on both front and rare side and there was no tampering in the number.
The registration number of motorcycle was used in Santro Car in which the IED was planted at Pulwama.
