JAMMU, Apr 9: The BJP district general secretary and ex corporator, Omi Khajuria has expressed concern over the water scarcity in various areas of the Ward 65 caused due to burning of the motor of tubewell at Dharmal over a fortnight back.
In a statement issued here today he urged the PHE authorities to take immediate steps in restoring the motor of the tubewell and ensure the better water supply to the localities of Dharmal, Mohalla Khajurian, Saraswati Vihar, Anuradha Puram and Amrita Vihar in the Ward .
He warned that in case the authorities within two days fail to resume the water supply the people will be forced to launch agitation and resort to road blockade.
