JAMMU, May 30: Two youth were injured in an assault case in Marh area of city outskirts.
According to a police official, a clash erupted yesterday between two communities in Chatha area of Marh over some old issues. He said in the clash, both the communities attacked each other with wooden logs and swords.
“In the clash, 2 persons were injured. They were identified as Nirmal Singh (17) son of Jang Bahadur and Sachin Sharma (20) son of Parshotam Sharma, both residents of Chatha (Marh),” the official said.
He said that the injured were shifted to a Government Hospital at Marh, from where they were later referred to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for further treatment.
The official said that a case FIR number 78/2020 under Sections 341, 323, 34 IPC, 147 4/25 was registered in this connection by Gajansoo police and further investigation started.
