JAMMU, Apr 9: A deputation of Jagti Tenement Committee, Jagti, Nagrota, led by Shadi Lal Pandita called on Commissioner/ Secretary to Government, Revenue, Relief and Rehabilation and apprised him about the grievences of the inhabitants of migrant camp.
The problem which was discussed was prolonged power curtailment and a request for restoration of un-interrupted power suppy. A copy of memorandum was handed to the Commissioner/Secretary, in the office of Chief Minister and other concerns for its action.
It was further said that committee will hold a peaceful protest on April, 17, 2013 in front of Raj Bhawan if Government fails to mitigate the sufferings of migrant community.
Other who accompanied the deputation include T N Koul, Daya Krishan, B L Raina, Rajinder Dhar, B L Dhar, M L Akhnoon etc.
