JAMMU, Apr 9: Reiterating that Jammu West Assembly Movement will start a janandolan from April 13 in support of its demands, chairman of the Movement Sunil Dimple today accused the Government for adopting delaying tactics in solving the long pending issues.
Addressing a press conference here today Dimple said that the Janandolan will be held for grant of district status to Jammu West and bifurcation of the Constituency into two Assembly segments before the elections of 2014.
Alleging that no steps were taken for development of Jammu West Constituency for the last 14 years, he said the people of the area have been deprived of the basic amentias of the life. The roads are in dilapidated condition, traffic problems are at galore, besides there are power and water crisis in the area.
He said the prevailing political situation in the State and country shows that the mid term poll are round the corner and recent budget presented by the coalition will be the last budget now.
Ridiculing the statement of State president of the Congress, Prof Saif-ud-Din Soz that Congress will either form the next Government in the State or head the coalition, Dimple said that there is wide public resentment among the people against the Congress for not coming out of coalition on Guru and Liyaqat issue which were raised by NC.
