Distribution of ration, essential items continues

JAMMU, May 31: Distribution of ration and essential items among the needy persons continued here today.
Gandhi Global Family Udhampur (GGF) in collaboration with Akhil Bharat Rachnatmak Samaj (ABRS) distributed dry ration, milk, vegetables and edible oil among 50 local needy families of village Barta of district Udhampur. The families were identified by prominent resident of the village Ajit Dubey. 36th relief camp was organized by GGF J&K under the guidance of Padmashri Dr S P Varm President GGF J&K. GGF Udhampur Coordinator Sachin Sharma arranged today’s relief material. Sachin Sharma, Atish Bhardwaj, Brighu Sharma, Akshit Sharma, Ayush Khajuria, Kautlya Sharma, Raja Afthab and Kunal Sharma distributed the relief material.
The Bethel Bhavan organised a programme under the leadership of its President Thomas Paul and distributed dry ration to the needy people at Christian Colony Ward Number 7 Jammu. Ritu Choudhary Corporator Ward Number 7, Rev Shoukat Peter President J&K Joint Churches Fellowship Jammu, The Bethel Bhavan members Camres Dravid Babbloo, Rita David, Titus Gill and Shashi Sotra were among others present on the occasion.
SHO Samba Inspector Suraj Pathania along with his team visited Thalora Mandi area and distributed the ration among the people. Biscuits were also distributed among children.
Sahara Educational Trust distributed masks in 11 wards of village Katli in District Samba to the BPL and vulnerable families. Monica Kalsotra, Trustee, Riya Loach, member of the Trust, Panch of Katli Anu Radha, Manik Kalsotra, Neeraj Atri, Sunil Thappa and others members of the Trust were present on the occasion. The masks were sponsored by RK Kalsotra, President All India Confederation of SC ST OBC Organisations.
Roop Nagar JDA Housing Colony Welfare Association under the chairmanship of Uttam Deep Sharma, Ashok Gupta, BK Sharma and other members of the Association distributed dry ration and other items among poor and needy families residing at Roop Nagar near Aap Shambhu Temple.
Bharatiya Janata Party, Jammu & Kashmir, General Secretary (Org) Ashok Kaul distributed 100 dry ration kits and other essential items among the needy at Om Palace Shakti Nagar, Jammu. Ashok Kaul was also accompanied by former MLC Girdhari Lal Raina, former District President Kashmir Displaced District Chand Ji Bhat, Kamla Gupta, Vice-Presidents KDD Bharat Bhushan Bhat and Shiban ji Pandita, Councillor Surinder Choudhary, Rahul Koul and others.
Chandra Bhaga Development cum Charitable Trust distributed essential commodities to needy people in Karol Kundi Block in District Ramban. Anil Singh, Rajesh Sumbria, Parmjeet Singh, Parshotam Singh, Sindoor Singh, Pumesh Singh, Ranjeet Singh, Israr ul Sadiq, Keshav Saulia, Roshan Singh, Anchal Chib, Sandeep Kumar and Arjun Singh were among others present on the occasion.
