JAMMU, Apr 9: NR Wasan, presently Additional Director General of National Investigation Agency (NIA) will officiate as Director General of NIA with immediate effect.
An official order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs said Mr Wasan would look after the duties of Director General of NIA till an officer to the post is appointed on regular basis.
Mr Wasan is an IPS officer of 1980 batch of Andhra Pradesh cadre.
