JAMMU, June 4: Giving momentum to development in Gangyal area, Jammu Municipal Corporatin (JMC) Chairman and senior BJP leader, Baldev Singh Billawaria kick started the development works in Ward 56 today.
Speaking on the occasion he said the pace of development will not be allowed to slow down as Modi Government is committed to development of the country and welfare of people. Billawaria started the construction of lane and drain located in Sector 6 of Ward No. 56, which will be constructed at a cost about Rs 2.5 lakh.
While talking to local people, Billawaria said that even though the country and the world are affected by the Corona epidemic, there will be no impact on development works.
“For some time, the pace of development was temporary put on halt and now again we have started the development works on the guidelines of Modi Government and the same will be accelerated”, he said. Billawaria said that many significant development works had been done in Gangyal area in the past and many more significant works will be undertaken in future also.
“We will touch every area for development so that people realize at the ground level what is the real definition of development”?. BJP State general secretary, SC Morcha Rakesh Sangral, Ward president, Ranjit Singh, Girdhari Lal, Pawan Chib, Mulkh Raj, Hardeep Singh, Surjeet Kumar and prominent citizens of the area were present on the occasion.
