JAMMU, June 6: Various organizations celebrated 622nd Kabir Jayanti.
All J&K Shri Sadguru Kabir Sabha celebrated 622nd Kabir Jayanti. Due to the COVID-19 advisory and in view the guidelines issued by UT Administration, the gathering was restricted while observing social distancing and other parameters in this regard.
President of All J&K Sadguru Kabir Sabha FC Bhagat, Prof Garu Ram (Ex-MLA), GR Bhagat (IAS Retd), Vice President Dr Gurdass Ram, Yash Pal, Manohar Lal General Secretary, Ashwani Bhagat Block President, Sat Pal Secretary and Tirath Ram District President, Samba.
Bhagat Mahasabha J&K Unit celebrates 622nd Prakash Utsav of revolutionary Sant Kabir. The program started with garlanding the portrait of Sant Kabir. Keeping in view the Corona pandemic only office bearers and block committee members of Sabha could attend the function. Mahinder Bhagat President of Sabha, Er Pawan Bhagat Chairman Bhagat Mahasabha, Dr Sanjay Bhasin, Dr Zaber Ahmed, Naresh Bhagat, Sansar Chand, Tersem Bhagat, Lalit Mohan, Sanesh Bhagat, Vivak Bhagat and Darshan Bhagat were present on the occasion.
All India Confederation of SC/ST/OBC Organisations celebrated 622nd Kabir Jayanti and distributed ration and grocery items to workers working in unorganized sector. RK Kalsotra, President Confederation was also present on the occasion.
Samba District Kabir Sabha celebrated 622nd Kabir Jayanti. District President Samba Kabir Sabha President Tirth Ram Bhagat and Babal Gupta Senior Congress leader were among others present on the occasion.
Kabir Jyanti was also celebrated in various places of Samba including bus stand Samba opposite Nirankari Satsang Bhawan Samba and Kabir Mandir Ward Number 9 Samba.
