UDHAMPUR, June 10: Land dispute between two brothers led to a clash, in which elderly mother along with her one son were assaulted by the other son at Majalta in Udhampur District.
The injured victims were identified as Saro Devi (78), wife of late Raj Singh and her son Angrez Singh (58). 30-year old son of Angrez Singh, namely Balbir Singh was also injured in the assault by his uncle Prakash Singh and his son Vikram Singh, who is a teacher at Tripati Convent School Manwal.
The incident took place at village Babor Devi Bani (Thlora) in Manwal, Tehsil Majalta. The injured were rushed to Primary Health Centre (PHC) Majalta for treatment while Police has registered a case in this connection.
According to the police, there was a land dispute between the two brothers and the incident took place when the elderly mother was working in fields along with her son.
