JAMMU, June 10: Police arrested five gamblers along with Rs 7690 stake money and playing cards.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Domana Police Station led by PSI Kulvinder Dev conducted raid and arrested five gamblers along with Rs 7690 stake money and playing cards.
The arrested persons were identified as Subash Kumar, son of Hans Raj, Balkar Singh, son of Angrez Singh, Ajay Kumar, son of Darshan Lal, Mohinder Singh, son of Gulel singh and Sanjay Kumar, son of Krishan Lal, all residents of Muthi.
A case under relevant sections has been registered against them at Police Station Domana and investigation started.
The arrest was made under the supervision of SHO Domana Inspector Chanchal Singh, SDPO Domana Kosheen Koul, SP Rural Jammu Suram Singh and SSP Jammu Shridhar Patil.
