Accounts employees project demands

JAMMU, June 10: Non-Gazetted J&K Accounts Employees Association today urged upon the J&K UT Administration to resolve their long pending issues.
In a meeting of the Association held under the chairmanship of K S Sambyal here today, the members expressed serious concern over the pending issues and said that despite repeated representations and requests to the higher authorities, their 25 years old issues still remain un-addressed. They said many accounts personnals have crossed 50 years age and are waiting for the last 25 years for any ray of hope.
They demanded that SRO- 272 should be implemented for promotion avenues, benefit of SRO- 160 from the date of joining, grant of increment bar, declare the result of ACC and Part-IInd without any more delay. They also stressed for change of designation Accounts Assistant and Accountant, amend pay grade of Accounts Assistants and repatriation of Corporation employes from Accounts Deptt etc.
