Panthers Party urges GoI to lodge protest against Pak over ceasefire violation

JAMMU, June 13: An urgent meeting of the Jammu & Kashmir National Panthers Party was held today at its Headquarters in Jammu, urging the President of India for his urgent intervention to call the Government of India to file an urgent complaint against Pakistan for attacking the innocent people on the LoC from Poonch to Hiranagar (Kathua) in J&K.
The Panthers Party, in its resolution strongly condemned the violation of United Nations resolution where ceasefire was ordered and even the United Nations appointed Observers to watch that ceasefire is observed.
Prof Bhim Singh, Chief Patron of J&K National Panthers Party, presided over the meeting and proposed a resolution which was carried in one voice urging the President of India to direct the Govt of India to lodge a complaint against Pakistan for violating ceasefire along LoC. The United Nations in its resolution had directed both Indian and Pakistan to observe ceasefire and even appointed its Observers along the ceasefire.
The Panthers Party expressed sympathy with the suffering people along LoC from Poonch to Hiranagar and urged the Govt of India to take up this issue before United Nations as Pakistan has been violating the ceasefire for several days.
Meanwhile, the Poonch District Working Committee in its urgent meeting has urged the Govt of India to provide them appropriate shelter/safe ground where they could afford to survive with their families.
Kuldeep Sharma, General Secretary District Panthers Party Poonch, had conveyed the meeting to highlight the miserable plight of the residents of those residing on the LoC and convey that there is no individual/political party or administration to save the people along LoC in Poonch Sector.
