JAMMU, June 13: A man died today after falling from a mobile tower in Muthi area of city outskirts.
According to a police official, Mohd Farooq (28) son of Mohd Aziz, resident of Mandi (Poonch) was working on a mobile tower in Muthi area falling under the jurisdiction of police station Janipur this morning and accidentally fell down.
“In the mishap, the man received serious injuries and was rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu by his brother but the doctors in the hospital declared him as brought dead,” he added.
The official said that after getting conducted postmortem, the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites while Janipur police had registered a case in this connection and started investigation.
