JTC, SKF highlight demands

JAMMU, June 13: Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front (SKF) in a meeting here, today held under the chairmanship of Shadi Lal Pandita, president of JTC has demanded hike in cash relief for migrants to Rs 25,000 per month in view of sky rocketing prices of essential commodities.
The meeting also demanded a package of 20,000 jobs for displaced youth and the remaining posts of PM package be filled up soon. It also demanded that a recruitment drive for KP youth be launched in Police and the displaced Pandits be compensated for the losses suffered by them in last three decades of turmoil in agriculture, trade etc.
It also reiterated settlement of Kashmiri Pandits in three satellite townships in Valley.
