JAMMU, June 16: A man killed today due to cylinder blast in a shop in Greater Kailash area of city outskirts.
“Rajesh Kumar (40) son of Roop Singh, resident of Himachal Pradesh (at present living in Bari-Brahmana, Samba), was working at a gas welding shop at Langer in Greater Kailash area this afternoon when while doing his routine welding job, the gas cylinder in the shop suddenly exploded,” a police official said.
He said in the explosion, Roop Singh killed on the spot. “His body was shifted to Government Medical College, Jammu for postmortem while Greater Kailash police had taken cognizance of the matter,” the official added.
