Triple “A” Performing Arts stages ‘Chor Chor Museray Bhai’

REASI, June 19: Rajnesh Gupta’s Hindi comedy play “Chor Chor Museray Bhai” was staged by Triple “A” Performing Arts Reasi in collaboration with Sangeet Natak Akademy, New Delhi at NHPC Auditorium Jyotipuram.
The play was directed by Raja Aamir Khan and assisted by Dharminder Rathore. Sushma Tyagi, eminent theatre personality from Delhi was the chief guest while Advocate Sarver Mir was the special guest on the occasion.
“Chor Chor Museray Bhai” is a comic play. There are five main characters. Ashraf is the owner of a house. Nusrat is his wife and she belongs to a well reputed family. Shekhu is the servant of Ashraf. He is bachelor and belongs to a poor family. Fatima is Ashraf’s sister, she is 40 years old and married. Kaley Khan is married old man and all his children are also married. He is a rich man and wants to get married again.
In the first scene, Ashraf is depicted as a lazy person. He is unhappy and looks forward to earn money by some on the often ways. He wants to promote his servant to become singer through whom he wants to earn money. This makes his wife sad. At that time Fatima comes and informs that she was ditched by the marriage bureau, which took money from her but didn’t help. From this incident, Ashraf gets an idea of a marriage bureau to cheat people and make money. On the other hand Shekhu also thinks that he can befool Fatima on the name of marriage.
Ashraf opens a marriage bureau where Kaley Khan comes and spends a lot of money. Shekhu impersonates as a young bachelor Wasim and befools Fatima who is also trying to befool Wasim by pretending to be a young beautiful girl. Wasim makes a lot of money by befooling Fatima. In the end Ashraf’s wife reveals all the truth. Kaley Khan gets married to Fatima while Shekhu alias Wasim is caught by the police and arrested.
The artist who acted in the play, included Zail Singh, Gopal Krishan, Monika Kumari, Saima Akhtar , Dharminder Rathore and Rakesh Kumar.
