REASI, June 20: Katra Police recovered stolen tractor trolley, which was stolen around one year back.
As per police sources, on June 12 last year, a complaint was lodged by Sanjeev Singh Wazir, son of Vaishno Dass Wazir of Matyal with Police Station Katra regarding theft of tractor trolley bearing registration number JK20A-7362.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 151/2019 under section 379 IPC was registered at Police Station Katra and during the course of investigation, Katra Police arrested two thieves identified as Mohammad Sahil, son of Subhan Din of Panassa District Reasi and Ajaz Ahmed, son of Misher Din of Shajroo Tehsil Mahore District Reasi.
During questioning, both of them confessed their involvement in the said case and also disclosed that the stolen vehicle was sold by them to a person belonging to the UT of Ladakh (Kargil, Zanskar).
On this, ASI Fazal Din along with police party headed towards Kargil, Zansakar by the orders of senior police officers to recover the stolen tractor along with trolley.
Today, Katra Police recovered the stolen tractor along with trolley from the UT of Ladakh (Kargil, Zanskar).
The recovery was made by ASI Fazal Din under the supervision of SHO Katra Inspector Sunil Sharma, SP Katra Amit Bhasin and SSP Reasi Rashmi Wazir.
