JMF expresses concern as Coronavirus gains momentum

JAMMU, June 21: Jammu Muslim Front (JMF) has expressed concern over the Coronavirus pandemic having gained momentum in Jammu region.
In a handout, Shuja Zaffar, Front Chairman said it is essential to take extra precautions to get rid of the pandemic and stressed on awareness campaign at mohalla level.
He appealed to the people of Jammu in general and Muslim community in particular to strictly follow the guidelines laid by the concerned authorities to prevent spread of COVID-19.
“Even though the Government has eased restrictions yet one should continue washing hands on regular basis, using hand sanitizers and maintaining social distancing while doing day to day work,” Zaffar said appealing Muslims to maintain safe distance while offering Namaaz in Mosques.
“While going out of homes, people should wear masks and avoid shaking hands. The shopkeepers should keep hand sanitizers in their shops so that every customer is sanitized before entering the shop,” he maintained.
On martyrdom of 20 Indian soldiers during a standoff at Galwan valley Zaffar said that Muslims of Jammu have always stood with the nation.
