JAMMU, Apr 12: Baisakhi Milan was organized jointly by Young Blood Association, Indian Cultural Forum and Parivartan Jammu, here today.
Dinesh Gupta, chairman, Citizens Cooperative Bank was the chief guest while Prof Lalit Magotra, president Dogri Sanstha presided over and Parduman Singh Jandrahia was the special guest along with Varun Singhla, Director, Kashmir Steel Rolling Mills Jammu.
Founder chairman of YBA, Anil Padha appealed the heads of different social and cultural organizatons to jointly address the cause of Jammu region and guide the youth for betterment of Jammu region. The CCB chairman Dinesh Gupta appreciated the efforts of these associations for bringing all on a joint platform. Parivartan Jammu chairman Vikas Sharma also expressed his views.
During the programme poetry recitation by Nirmal Vinod, Randhir Singh Rajpuria, Deepak Aarsi, Gyaneshwar Sharma, Surinder Singh Manhas, Mohan Singh Slathia and Darshan Dardi was done while Dogri Ghazal and songs were presented by Rakesh Slathia, Nirbhay Slathia, Basheer Mastana, Suraj Singh, Manju Bala, Mukti Oberoi and Sham Sajan.
Prominent among those present included S Pritpal Singh Betab, Satpal Shrivats, H C Jalmaria, Shiv, Puran Chand Sharma, Janak Khajuria, Sham Talib, Amin Banihali, Anand Khajuria, Mohan Singh, Ravi Dev Sharma, H N Tikoo, Rajinder Singh, Vishal Targotra, Naresh, Joginder Kumar.
The programme concluded with vote of thanks by Sham Sajan and the master of the ceremony was Ravi Kant.
