JKTJAC raises issues of teachers

UDHAMPUR, June 22: A teleconferencing meet of Jammu Kashmir Teachers’ Joint Action Committee (JKTJAC) was held here today under the leadership of UT President Vinod Sharma for raising the various burning issues of the teachers.
The meet demanded transfer policy in favour of Teachers Grade II, 3rd Teachers and Teachers Grade III and urged the Principal Secretary School Education to frame a comprehensive transfer policy as these teachers have working in the same institutions for last 18 to 20 years.
Vinod Sharma also appealed the Principal Secretary for creation of Master grade posts for the Head teachers working in the middle schools upgraded under erstwhile SSA scheme so that they may get their salary well in time from the posts they are working.
Raising the issue of teachers of Kashmir province, he appealed the DSEK to convert the left out RRETs/EV RRETs to Teachers Grade II / Teachers Grade III whose CID verification is adverse as they are without salary for last more than one year . He also sought the sanctioning of time bound cases in favour of Grade II and Grade III teachers in Kashmir as even after the clear cut directions from higher ups the CEOs aren’t sanctioning their cases.
Raising the issue of regularisation of RETS, he said that regularisation list of ReTs may be issued as good no of files are lying at both the Directorates of School Education for a long. He appealed the DSEJ and DSEK to clear the regularisation files of teachers who are waiting for the same since 2018.
Vinod Sharma also demanded the travelling allowance in favour of all the teachers as they are also doing the official duties regularly such as distribution of MDM ration, distribution of study material to the students, online classes, submission of all types of daks etc.
