Anti-China protests held across Jammu

JAMMU, June 22: Even after a week of martyrdom of our 20 soldiers in Galwan Valley in a violent clash with Chinese army, protests are being held across Jammu by various political and social organizations, demanding revenge from China.
The activists of National Awami United Party held a strong protest against Chinese Government and PLA (People’s Liberation Army) and took out a rally in the shape of a funeral procession from Toph Bridge to Shanti Ghat, Shakti Nagar (Jammu) and cremated the effigy of Chinese President Xi Jinping there. While talking to media persons, Yoginder Pal Verma appealed every Indian to participate in war against China by not using Chinese products and apps.
Senior vice president of BJP Kupwara district Shamim Bano today demanded Prime Minister Narendra Modi to give a befitting reply to China for killing our 22 Jawans. Stating that the Pakistan is also sending terrorists to Kashmir and constantly violating the ceasefire to execute its nefarious designs, she said that reprehensible act of Pakistan should not be ignored and now it is time to teach a lesson to China as well as Pakistan and this is the opportunity to liberate PoK from the occupation of Pakistan.
Shiv Sena Bala Saheb Thackeray, J&K unit while accusing China’s leading newspaper Global Times of spreading propaganda against India and conspiring to hurt morale, protested against the newspaper today by setting on fire the online copies of the newspaper. Party J&K president Manish Sahni said that Global Times should not make the mistake of underestimating the strength of India. He said that India is a country of brave warriors and is able to give a befitting reply to China on every front.
Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) activists led by their president Sunil Dimple held a strong protest against China at New Plot, Jammu. Raising anti-China slogans, the protesting people appealed Prime Minister Narendra Modi to stop import of the China goods in India. He further appealed the PM to cancel all contracts with Chinese companies.
The workers of Dogra Front & Shiv Sena under the leadership of their president Ashok Gupta took out a protest rally against Galwan valley attack of China. Ashok Gupta, while speaking on the occasion, lashed at former Congress president Rahul Gandhi for misleading that nation by making false statements. He said in this tense situation on border with China, the nation should stand united and promote “Boycott Chinese goods” movement.
