JAMMU, June 22: Jammu Kashmir Incharge Lecturers Co ordination Committee today held a virtual meeting with all the districts representatives of JKUT to discuss the demands to be submitted to Director School Education Kashmir, Chairman, Education Administrative Services Committee JKUT, which was recently constituted by Principal Secretary School Education to recommend the proposal of separate Education Administrative Services for JKUT.
The committee decided to submit a memorandum demanding implementation of running grade in favour of all +2 Lecturers after the confirmation of all incharge +2 lecturers as is given to college teachers after 5 and 11years or time bound promotion as is given to other employees. KAS grade may be given to all lecturers after 14 years already promised by Principal Secretary School Education, all Directors and Joint Directors while JKBOSE Chairman may be appointed from the School Education Department as are appointed in Health and Medical Education Department,” the meet resolved.
“Selection to all Education Administrative Services be made after conducting a written test of all PG and B Ed trained Lecturers, Masters and Teachers conducted by PSC in advance as are conducted in Revenue and Accounts Departments through PSC, inchargism in gazetted and non-gazetted cadres may be abolished in future and pre preparations must be done for DPC through HRM cell , all B Ed teachers may be given TPGT, TGT and TET grades as are given in other states and UTs, three separate Directorates may be created for administrative , academic and construction purposes as at present all burden is on Directorates or CEOs and no attention is given for supervision of academic activities at the elementary level, 40 percent quota may be reserved for +2 lecturers in colleges for lecturers as was earlier given to +2 lecturers before 2005, Vice Principals post may be recommended in every Govt higher secondary school,” resolved the meet while listing the demands.
Those who participated in the virtual meeting, included Amar Nath Thakur, chairman JKSEECC/ JKGT, Ravesh Saraf, Gen, Sec I/C Jammu division, Showket Ahmed Wani, Rajesh Gorkha, Prem Kumar, Tara Mani, Liaquat Ali, Mir Manzoir, Rashid Malik and others.
