JAKFED clarifies

JAMMU, Apr 12: The JAKFED has refuted the allegations leveled by president Ram Sena, Rajiv Mahajan regarding black marketing of the LPG cylinders as totally baseless.
In a statement issued by Managing Director of the organization, Dr Mohammed Akram Malik it was stated that the allegation leveled by Mr Mahajan that JAKFED has sold the per cylinder on Rs 1200 is totally baseless. It said that alone in the month of March the JAKFED has cleared 4,182 cylinders on cash and carry basis.
The handout further said that the organization is open to probe by any of the bonafide customers of JAKFED and if proved that any employee of the organization was guilty, the concerned employee will be punished under law as also his name will be made public.
