BJP, freedom fighters pay glowing tributes to Dr Mukherjee on his 67th Martyrdom Day

JAMMU, June 23: Like other parts of the country glowing tributes were paid to founder president of Bharatiya Jan Sangh (BJS) and a great patriot, Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee on his 67th Martyrdom Day by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and other organisations across J&K today.
BJP organised functions at different places in Jammu region in which the speakers while recalling the sacrifices of Dr Mukherjee described him the proponent of Ek Pradhan, Ek Vidhan , Ek Nishan theory which was given practical shape by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi after over 70 years of independence of India with total integration of J&K with rest of the country.
In connection with observance of the day a function was organised at BJP Headquarters Trikuta Nagar here in which party leaders including its J&K UT president, Ravinder Raina, former Deputy CM Kavinder Gupta, BJP vice presidents, Dr Narinder Singh, Sham Lal Sharma,(former Minister) , Anuradha Singh Charak and Aseem Gupta, party general secretary (Org) Ashok Koul, general secretary and former Minister, Dr Divinder Kumar Manyal and others recalled the leadership qualities of Dr Mukherjee and described him a great patriot and a visionary leader.

On the occasion of Balidan Diwas, former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta inaugurated a free medical camp at Satwari organised by ISM.
Earlier Kavinder Gupta paid floral tributes to Mukherjee’s portrait at his residence and at various other places in Gandhi Nagar constituency. At his residence the program was organised by BJP district Jammu president, Vinay Gupta and attended by Ankush Gupta, Lucky Puri, Rahul Kumar and Ajay Gupta, (all councillors), Narinder Koki, Vivek Patyal, Sunny Sangotra and Rachit Khosla among other office bearers from UT team, district team and Mandal teams.
While paying tribute to the great ideologue of millennium, Nirmal Singh said that Dr. Mukherjee was a great academician, barrister and a social worker who dedicated his whole life for the welfare of people. He said that, Dr. Mukherjee was too concerned for J&K State and also sacrificed his life for the true unification of State with Union of India, while fighting for “Ek Vidhan, Ek Nishan, Ek Pradhan” and after the abrogation of Article 370 and 35 A on 5 August 2019  is the real tribute to Dr Mukherjee. He also said that BJP had tread very rough paths from Bharatiya Jana Sangh to Bharatiya Janata Party, which has emerged today as the largest political party of the world.
Freedom Fighters Memorial Association (FFMA) J&K paid floral tributes to Dr Mukherjee on his Martyrdom day. BJP J&K general secretary, Vibodh Gupta also joined them in paying tribute to him.
Speaking on the occasion, Vibodh Gupta said that Mukherjee was a staunch nationalist, freedom fighter and founder of Bharatiya Jan Sangh who laid down his life for preserving the unity and integrity of the country. He recalled the struggle of Mukherjee and said that he sacrificed his life on June 23, 1953 for the cause of United India, rejecting the idea of two flags, two constitutions and two heads in the country.
Vibodh further said that today is the first death anniversary of Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee after the realisation of his dream of Ek desh,Ek Vidhan, Ek Pradhan aur Ek Nishan.
FFMA, representative R C Puri also spoke on the life and personality of Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee and said that he made supreme sacrifices to ensure the unity and integrity of the nation. FFMA Chairman, Ved Gandotra while paying rich tributes to Dr Mukherjee said that his life and achievements have continued to inspire many generations of India. He emerged as the symbol of unity and integrity.
Vice president Rajiv Mahajan, general secretary, Karnail Chand, Prarvbht Kapale, Prof. RP Sharma, Prof. SS Bhalwal, president, Mazdoor Kisaan J&K Garuram, Ms Krishna Kumari, RR Raina and Dr Karan Gupta were also present on the occasion.
To Pay Tribute to Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee BJP Talab Tillo Mandal under the leadership of Keshav Chopra, Mandal president Talab Tillo organised Shradhanjali programme at Ward 31 Talab Tillo in which former BJP president & former Minister, Sat Sharma (CA), Mayor JMC, Chander Mohan Gupta, chief whip and councillor, Parmod Kapahi, Municipal councillor, Sanjay Baru, Additional publicity secretary, JKUT BJP Ayodhya Gupta, JMC chairman, Jeet Angral, Municipal councillors, Neelam Nargotra, Satpal Karlupia, Surinder Choudhary, Dr Akshay Sharma were among the prominent present in the programme.
Speaking on the occasion Sat Sharma said that Dr. Mukherjee devoted his whole life for India’s unity and integrity and his sacrifice will never go in vain as J&K will never forget his contribution.
Paying tributes to late leader Mayor JMC, Chander Mohan Gupta said that Dr. Mukherjee was a patriot who has dedicated his whole life for the country. He was a truly hardcore worker and due to his hard work, BJP has today blossomed to this extent.
Another function was held at Rajouri in which senior party leader, Kuldeep Raj Gupta former vice chairman Pahari Board was the chief guest. The speakers paid glowing tributes to late leader and described him a patriot to the core. Gupta while recalling the 1953 Praja Parishad struggle said many leaders were jailed at that time among whom he was also one.
BJP Kashmir Displaced District also paid rich tributes to Dr Shayama Prasad Mukherjee here today. BJP leaders Chand Ji Bhat Prabhari KDD, Bharat Bushan Bhat Gosani, Shiban Ji Pandit, Makhan Lal Bhat, Sweety Koul, Chaman Lal Pandit, J L Pandita vice presidents, Vinod Pandita general secretary, Babita Kour , Anjali Raina , Vishal Jyotshi, Rahul Koul Yuwa Morcha president and Rakesh Fotedar and many other leaders attended the programme and paid floral tributes to the portrait of late leader.
BJP J&K Executive Member, Raman Suri also paid rich tributes to Dr Mukherjee at a function here and said his slogan of Ek Nishan, Ek Vidhan and Ek Pradhan will continue to inspire generations for ever.
Rich tributes were paid to Dr Mukherjee at Mukhreeje Chowk Kathua by BJP. On the Occasion Ex Minister Rajiv Jasrotia, BJP district president Raghunadan Singh, Vicky Sharma, Prem Nath, Naresh Sharma and other senior leaders were present. They paid the floral tribute to Mukherjee and recalled his sacrifices for sake of country and people of J&K.
Former Minister and Ex-MLA Vijaypur Chander Parkash Ganga paid floral tributes to Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee’s portrait on his sacrifice day at Adda Sarore.
On the occasion Ganga said that Shyama Prasad Mukherjee’s entire life was dedicated to the unity and integrity of the nation.
To pay tribute to Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Praja Parishad Memorial Trust Jourian organised a programme in which Former Dy.CM Dr Nirmal Singh was chief guest. The program was organised by Ex Vice Chairman Daljeet Singh Chib.
Speaking on the occasion Dr Nirmal Singh said that Mukherjee devoted his whole life for India’s unity and integrity.
