JAMMU, June 23: The annual religious function in connection with the Maha Jayanti of Shri Shri Jagat Amba Sharika to be performed at holy shrine of Chakreshwar, Hari Parbat in Srinagar, Kashmir from June 27 to June 29 has been cancelled due to COVID -19 restrictions.
According to a handout issued by the Shri Shri Jagat Amba, Sharika Chakreshwar Asthapan Trust here, today the annual Maha Yagya to be performed at the holy shrine has also been cancelled to avoid the public gathering. The devotees have been asked to perform the function at their respective residences to seek blessings of the Goddess Sharika, the presiding deity of Srinagar, Kashmir.
