LEH, June 23: Police arrested a thief and recovered stolen property worth around Rs 1 lakh from his possession, a police official said.
The arrested accused has been identified as Yaukpu Sherpa.
He was involved in a case registered under FIR Number 21/2020 under section 457 and 380 IPC with Police Station Leh.
Stolen property, which stands recovered include mobile phones and one LED TV.
Further questioning of the accused is going on to ascertain his involvement in other theft cases, police official maintained.
