JAMMU, June 23: Financial Inclusion and Insurance Department under the chairmanship of Janak Raj Angural in collaboration with NABARD organized Financial and Digital Literacy Awareness Programmes in Nadh under B/O Nadh, District-Samba on the theme of Credit Camp cum awareness among Farmers, Students and non-farm working groups. Many of the line departments participate in the credit cum awareness programme i.e., Chief Guests B K Chandan Joint Director Agriculture, DDM NABARD, Samriti Bhagat, Shamsher Singh, HOD FIID, J&K Grameen Bank, Amit Laira, Regional Manager J&K Grameen Bank, Sarpanch Ramesh Singh and Sushma Devi,
They all sensitized the participants about agricultural developments in banking sector and latest Govt schemes. They emphasizes that the aim of this awareness camp is to completely allay any misconception in the minds of youngsters who intend to foray into business ventures.
A number of sanction letters to various beneficiaries were handed over by the chief guest to the tune of Rs.50 lakh during the Mega Credit cum Awareness Camp to farmers under KCC.
They highlighted the NABARD schemes like Farmers Club, SHG, JLG and various schemes under financial inclusion of NABARD for the awareness and upliftment of rural as well as urban masses.
They informed visitors about different loan schemes of the bank and also added that the interest rates on loan and advances in J&K Grameen Bank are one of lowest amongst the other banks. They also added that our bank is extending all types of loan facilities.
Sudhir Singh Branch Head Nadh, addressed the gathering regarding the schemes of the Bank and stressed upon the social security schemes.
