Man booked for trying to outrage modesty of minor girl

JAMMU, June 24: Police booked a man for trying to outrage modesty of a minor girl.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged by a man with Police Post Gujjar Nagar stating that a man identified as Raman Kumar, son of Dev Raj of Cheer Basti took her minor daughter to his room and tried to outrage her modesty.
Acting over the compliant, a case under FIR Number 39/2020 under section 354 IPC and 8 POCSO Act has been registered at Police Station Peer Mitha and investigation started.
