JAMMU, June 24: The Management of Dulhasti Power Station, NHPC Limited cautioned general public of Doda and Kishtwar and particularly to public of villages including Dul, Benzwar, Cherhar, Bhandarkot, Hasti, Kandani, Prem Nagar and Pul Doda not to go near river Chenab on June 26 (Friday) from 00:00 am to 18:00 pm as the gates of Dulhasti Power Station Dam shall be opened for periodical reservoir flushing.
During this period the water level of the Chenab may rise to 2 to 3 meters. Therefore, the public residing near the river downstream areas is being cautioned to refrain from moving themselves and their cattle/ Trucks & Tippers near the banks of the River to avoid any mishap.
