Provide firefighting facility

Sir,
Fire is one of the most dreadful natural disasters in the world as it never  discriminates between cities and villages, rich and poor and reduces everything  coming in its spate to ashes. Every year many human and animal lives are lost in  the sudden breakout of fires in big cities, towns and villages. The vast  stretches of forests are destroyed in the fires where, apart from loss of wild  lives, a heavy monetary loss is rendered to the state exchequer every year. The  small towns and villages, where majority of the poor people especially the  nomads (Gujjars, Bakerwals and Gaddies) live in Kachcha houses with the thatch  roofs are more prone to fires especially in summers. Every year thousands of  the livestock of the nomads as well as of the villagers in Bani and Basohli tehsils  are gutted in the accidental fire as a result of which their whole economy is  shattered and they are compelled to live hand to mouth life in the absence of  any monetary assistance from the concerned quarters. It is very sad that even in  the 21st century there are no firefighting services available  in 275 kms terrain  en-route Lakhanpur Sarthal road which is the most vulnerable area to the fire. In  the event of outbreak of fires in these villages,1it becomes extremely difficult for  the natives to put out the fire with the help of buckets full of water especially in  the drought hit and the villages where there is scarcity of water. It is observed  that for the safety of VIPs and of the VVIPs, during their official tours, the fire  brigade  is pressed into service in accordance with their itinerary.
The safety of every citizen against the natural calamities, like  accidental fires, is the constitutional obligation of the governments. It is  suggested that for protecting the lives of the people against untimely and tragic  deaths due to the accidental fires in the villages and towns enroute Lakhanpur,  Basohli, Sarthal the firefighting services (Fire brigade) must be provided each at  Mahanpur, Basohli and Bani towns because there is plenty of scope for reaching out for the rescue of the effected people in the remote areas. Moreover, there is abundance of water resources available in Behani, RSD and Sewa rivers needed for extinguishing accidental fires in the villages by the fire brigade vehicles.
Yours etc…
